Turkey does not intend to carry out its military campaign in the Daesh jihadist group's stronghold of Raqqa in northern Syria alone, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In an interview with the Rossiya-24 broadcaster, Cavusoglu said:

"Right now there is no talk of Turkey carrying out the operation in Raqqa independently."

The minister called for foreign forces to leave Syria after the campaign is concluded.
