DevBot is equipped with the same power plant and electronics as other sports cars participating in the race. The vehicle has only one additional element — installed cockpit.
Roborace will host ten teams, each of which will receive two electro-cars. All electric vehicles will have the same mechanic features and will differ only in software.
Each unmanned electric car will be controlled through a Drive PX 2 computer, which NVIDIA introduced at the CES 2016 exhibition.
Its platform has a computing power of eight teraflops and is able to handle the flow of data from 12 cameras, radars and other sensors.
The official presentation of the car is scheduled for August 24 and will be held at the Donington Park circuit in Leicestershire, England.
Roborace will start in October 2016 under the Formula E 2016 event, season 17.
